one of the weirdest things that happened during my 2nd pregnancy was that as my belly grew, my stomach shifted to the right. i know this because i had wicked heartburn and like you, needed tums to survive. on one particularly bad day, i took the tums and could feel the burn receeding down and to the right until it went away. it was awesome and frightening to think how messed up my body must be inside.
if it gets worse, talk to your doctor about Nexium...my ob put me on it w/ my 2nd baby and it's a miracle drug!
