I Never Knew I was this Squeamish

Does anyone else think it's strange that What to Expect says I should hold a navel orange in my hand this week to picture how big our baby is, then eat it?

Curious why your body is finally looking like it's pregnant? That's because your baby is growing bigger each week — he or she is as long as four and a half inches right now. Need a better visual (and a snack)? Hold a large navel orange in your hand — that's how big your little darlin' is. (Now that you're done looking, peel that orange and eat it for a delicious two servings of vitamin C!).

I think I'm thinking too much.

Yep, I'd say you were too! So, how was the orange? :)

What to Expect is a scary book. I read it when I was pregnant and had all kinds of nightmares! I highly recommend "I'm Pregnant" by Lesley Regan, MD. Not quite as scary and it has fantastic pictures.

i agree w/ shaun. i hated "What to Expect" ...it can be a scary book. they always seem to go "worst case scenario". i tended to just read BabyCenter.com.

me three! i read what to expect, but sometimes it gives the info in a different month and can be a little confusing. i preffered "the pregnancy bible". it goes week by week for both mom and baby, and the layout is more by catergory than month. like...your diet, your body, getting ready, etc. also, great pictures.
